Digpal Lanjekar's mosta awaited film Shivarayancha Chhava's shooting has been completed

 
Writer director Digpal Lanjekar is the only name known today for Marathi historical films. His upcoming film is based on the exploits of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second king of Swarajya, the son of the founder of Swarajya, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Digpal shared a recent post from the sets on his Instagram handle and announced the completion of the shoot.


Talking about the story of this feat of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, producer Sunny Rajani says that “The shooting of my very first film 'Shivarayancha Chhawa' was successfully completed in a record time of 33 consecutive days. Working with Digpal sir was truly a pleasant experience for us. The studious approach required for historical films was reflected in his every work on the set. I have learned a lot from them. Digpal sir is the only director I have worked with so far who has done so much research on the subject of his film. His devotion to history and to Chhatrapati Shivrayan is admirable, I am very proud to present this first film produced by Malhar Pictures Company. I am sure that the film will be well received by the film buffs and make this campaign a success."

Presented by Malhar Pictures Company, produced by Sunny Rajani and Vaibhav Bhor, the film "Shivarayancha Chhawa" tells the story of adventure and bravery of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
